My Books and Where to Buy Them
Here’s a glimpse into my journey:
I began writing children’s picture books in Venezuela in 2010.
On this page, you'll find direct links to purchase my inspiring books, "Seraphina Ballerina" and the bilingual edition of "Walter" (English-Spanish).
I am Sara V. Robinson, born in the vibrant city of Caracas, Venezuela. My first published work, "Mecate y Don Julio", was released in 2012 by El Perro y la Rana publishers. I also contributed to "Leamos un Cuento", a series of short stories that brought joy to readers every Sunday in the local newspaper. In 2016, I embraced a new chapter by immigrating to the United States with my son.
Passionate about animals, I advocate for their well-being and welfare. My heart finds joy in reading, watching movies, and cooking delightful meals. When not writing stories, it is because I'm creating new recipes for "Sofrito Meets South". I share my life with my husband, Jason, our son, Sam, and our two beloved Labradors, Walter and Rosalia, in charming Woodstock, Georgia.

A Lovely Story With Beautiful Illustrations!
August 8, 2023
This book was a delight to read and look at. The illustrations fit perfectly with the narrative. The tale is a beautiful story of the importance of gratefulness, even as you're following your dreams. I would recommend this to any reader, or to read to someone else.

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter who loves to dance. She adores this book, but I think I may love it even more! Such a sweet story that will inspire young dancers to chase after their dreams, and focus on the things that matter most. The illustrations are beautifully made and fit the storyline perfectly. Definitely recommend for young readers!

A heartwarming story of a dog's rescue
October 25, 2022
An endearing book that features the story told in English and in Spanish. The story is told from the perspective of a dog named Walter whose story is based on an actual event. In short, Walter is neglected by his owner and runs away. He is taken to the pound where he is adopted by a loving family. But those are just the facts. The story that colors in those facts is both heartbreaking (at the beginning) and heartlifting (at the end). The story is well crafted and gives those of us who have adopted dogs - or those who are thinking about adopting a dog - an important perspective in how much adoption matters and the lives that are changed (not just the dog's) when they are rescued. Highly recommend.
